Styrofoam crumb

Crumb foam (polystyrene) is produced as a by-product in the production of construction sheet polystyrene. It is used as a heat-saving backfill material and polystyrene.

This is a relatively expensive and effective insulation, as well as filler for lightweight concrete.

Crumbs of Styrofoam used as insulating backfill and for insulation of wells, sewage systems, foundations.

In the polystyrene composition necessarily includes such an easy filler like crumbs of Styrofoam. Due to the unique characteristics of such a filler, concrete acquires heat-saving properties and light weight. In addition, polystyrene has a low level of water absorption, which enhances its thermal insulation properties.
